Day of Advantage and freedom - a holiday in Ukraine which is celebrated every year on November 21 in honor of the beginning of this day of two revolutions: orange revolution (2004) and Revolution of Advantage (2013). Is a successor of a holiday of day of will which was celebrated on November 22 on honor of Orange revolution in 2005-2011, it wasn't cancelled by the decree of the President Victor Yanukovych yet. On November 13, 2014 the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed the decree according to which in Ukraine the Day of advantage and will is celebrated on November 21.
It is established "for the purpose of the statement in Ukraine of ideals of freedom and democracy, preservation and the report to modern and future generations of objective information on fatal events in Ukraine of the beginning of the 21st century, and also the legend of due respect of patriotism and courage of citizens, in the fall of 2004 and in November, 2013 - February, 2014 appeared in protection of democratic values, the rights and freedoms of the person and citizen, national interests of our state and its European choice..." according to the decree of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko No. 872/2014 "About Day of Advantage and Svoboda" of November 13, 2014
2014 The first anniversary of Revolution of advantage was to some extent conflictual because of a situation between a part of the public and the power.
In Kiev relatives of heroes of People killed during Euromaidan catcalled the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during assignment by the head of state of flowers, having expressed indignation of impunity guilty of murders on the Maidan. Only after this incident of Poroshenko made the decision to give the dead the ranks of the Hero of Ukraine.
In Odessa on the date of advantage attempt of activists to break the tent town under the building of the regional Department of Internal Affairs in Evreyskaya St., but there were ottisnuta police officers from there
Actions for a celebration of the dead on the Maidan took place also in other cities of Ukraine - Lviv, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Sumy, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Nikolaev], Exactly.

The second anniversary was designated even more sharply by the conflicts, and in a number of media the possibility of the beginning of "the third Maidan" was discussed.
In Kryvyi Rih tension was caused by falsifications on local elections for the deputy from "The oppositional block" of Yu. Vilkul. Protest actions began on November 17 and to a state for November 21 the conflict remained unresolved, on popular assembly on November 22 in Kryvyi Rih there arrived Semyon Semyonchenko, Vladimir Parasyuk, Andrey Sadovyi.
In the Kherson region on the eve of the anniversary there was a conflict between activists of civil blockade of the Crimea and employees of law enforcement agencies as a result of which 6-7 people were traumatized, including the journalist of ATR channel Gulsum Khalilov. The conflict took place after blasting transmission towers by unknown persons in Genichesky and Chaplynsky district on November 20. The conflict called the Crimean Tatars in holding on November 21 a protest action under Presidential Administration in Kiev
Meanwhile in Kiev law enforcement authorities blocked approach to a memorable cross on Nebesnoy sotni Avenue, having caused discontent of the citizens who came to honor memory of the dead. In the evening of the same day activists broke the planned concert on the Independence Maidan, are revolted that anniversary of the Maidan is celebrated as a holiday.
